The introduction of the 2009 Acura TSX is making even the most demanding car shoppers sit back and admire. The latest model of the Acura TSX, available as of April 2008, is definitely the latest and greatest in a line of great vehicles by Acura. The outstanding combination of performance, safety and design features doesn’t leave anything to be desired.

We all want to feel safe and secure and the 2009 Acura TSX ensures that there’ll be no question when it comes to safety! The new engine will distribute power across a wider range of rpms, which when combined with the increased torque, should provide a greater feeling of power and control for the driver. With these adjustments to the engine, the Acura TSX is expected to receive up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway.

The 2009 Acura TSX takes advantage of the 2.2 liter i-DTEC clean turbodiesel engine allowing Acura to provide an even more “environmentally friendly” option for their newest model due to the advanced Nox emissions reduction system. The new engine is enhanced so that it doesn’t require any urea additives to meet emission standards.

Two transmission options (5-speed automatic and 6-speed manual) will be available with both the 2009 Acura TSX: the 2.4 liter engine and the i-DTEC engine. The automatic Acura TSX will come with the added feature of steering wheel paddle shifters for optional manual shifting.

During the process of redesigning the Acura TSX for 2009, its size was increased. The 3 inch width increase will allow drivers to increase stability and control with their 2009 Acura TSX. This means that the vehicle will offer a 2.6 inch wider track and a 1.3 inch longer wheelbase in comparison to previous models. The 2009 Acura TSX will also have its length increased by 2.4 inches.

Traditional Acura luxury is evident in the 2009 Acura TSX, but it offers more than ever before. This model has a USB port music interface and an optional tech package. The optional technology package includes: a navigation system, real time weather and traffic reporting, and 10 speaker premium sound system with DVD-audio capabilities. Another “advancement” that the 2009 Acura TSX offers is Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure that reduces the accident impact on passengers.

In addition to the safety, performance, and tech features the 2009 Acura TSX offers popular extras: power moon roof, 17 inch alloy wheels, Xenon HID headlights, heated front seats, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, satellite radio, and the capability for Bluetooth connection. It also offers an optional voice activated navigation system.
